Ayer 20 de agosto quien fuera el frontman de Thin Lizzy, es decir el recordado Phil Lynott, hubiera cumplido 71 años. Para celebrar este acontecimiento, se lanzó el primer trailer de un nuevo documental centrado en su vida, titulado «Phil Lynott: Songs For While I’m Away». Y como pasa siempre en toda película, después de los títulos y la intro llega la acción y los detalles, que ya mismo les contamos.

Este documental fue dirigido por Emer Reynolds («Here Was Cuba», «The Farthest») y cuenta la historia de la carrera y la vida de Lynott, desde su niñez en la Dublín de clase trabajadora de 1950, hasta convertirse en uno de los rock más reconocidos de Irlanda. estrellas. La película incluye entrevistas con Eric Bell de Thin Lizzy, Scott Gorham, Darren Wharton, Adam Clayton de U2, Suzi Quatro, Huey Lewis, James Hetfield de Metallica y Midge Ure de Ultravox, y se estrenará en Irlanda durante el otoño boreal, es decir nuestra primavera. Mientras tanto, Thin Lizzy ha anunciado una enorme caja que abarca toda su carrera, bautizada «Rock Legends», que saldrá el 23 de octubre a través de UMC.
