LET IT MIX: LANZAN UN NUEVO COMPILADO DE JOHN LENNON «REMEZCLADO DESDE CERO»

El próximo 9 de octubre, en lo que hubiera sido el 80 cumpleaños de John Lennon, saldrá a la venta una nueva recopilación de su material solista más popular titulada «Gimme Some Truth: The Ultimate Mixes», la colección fue producida ejecutivamente por Yoko Ono Lennon y artísticamente por Sean Ono Lennon, quien eligió las 36 canciones que han sido «completamente remezcladas desde cero, mejorando radicalmente su calidad sonora y presentándolas como una Experiencia Auditiva Definitiva nunca antes escuchada», así, con mayúsculas… y ya mismo les damos los Detalles Que Completan esta noticia.

La edición será editada a través de de Capitol / UME en una variedad de formatos que incluyen CD, 2CDs, 2LPs, 4LPs y una caja de edición de lujo. Todas las pistas han sido completamente remezcladas y diseñadas por Paul Hicks, quien hizo lo propio para «Imagine: The Ultimate Collection», con la asistencia de Sam Gannon, quien también trabajó en el mencionado compilado de 2018. El dúo usó nuevas transferencias de las pistas múltiples originales, y el proceso se completó con equipos analógicos antiguos en los estudios de grabación Henson de Los Ángeles. La masterización final en analógico se llevó a cabo en Abbey Road Studios por Alex Wharton.

Pero eso no es todo: el boxset deluxe incluirá un libro de 124 páginas que cuenta la historia de cada tema con las palabras de John Lennon y Yoko, junto con las contribuciones de quienes trabajaron junto a ellos. También se incluirán curiosidades que incluyen fotografías raras, cartas y obras de arte. Como si fuera poco, habrá un disco de audio Blu-ray que contiene las mezclas en estéreo HD de 24 bits / 96 kHz con calidad de estudio, sonido envolvente 5.1 envolvente y Dolby Atmos.
